Book Fair Headliners Announced

Printers Row Book Fair
The Printers Row Book Fair is the largest free outdoor literary event in the Midwest and is taking place in June 5 - 6 in Chicago's historic Printers Row neighborhood. The list of over 100 authors scheduled to appear include Chuck Palahniuk, Dave Eggers, Gish Jen, James Atlas, and Oprah's personal chef, Art Smith. Each of these authors are asked to remain at the fair at least one hour after their event to sign copies of their books.

The Book Fair is in it's 20th year and draws up to 90,000 people annually. It also features multiple stages with more than 100 free literary programs and over 200 booksellers from across the country, many of them being independent booksellers who sell books of different languages and genres to represent the diverse ethnic and cultural communities of Chicagoland. There is also a Target Family Area that features events for kids.

If you love books like we do, this is an event not to be missed. Mark it on your calendars - June 5-6.
