White Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen's big plans got rained out last night, but he's trying to make up for lost time in the Sox-Orioles double header this afternoon. After the ChiSox bitch-slapped the Orioles on Tuesday 15–0, Guillen wanted to keep Ross Gload at first, Juan Uribe at third, and Timo Perez in CF instead of Paul Konerko, Joe Crede, and Aaron Rowand respectively. All three benchwarmers started game 1 this afternoon, but Gload was in RF (subbing for Magglio Ordoñez) and Paulie was back on first. The Sox dropped that game 1-0, but are off to a good start up 3–1 in the bottom of the fourth.
Even though fans might not have been thrilled with the benchings, our South Side boys are being surprisingly gracious. Way to be, fellas.
