What is up with Chicagoans purposefully running over pedestrians lately? We read yesterday that a little girl died after she was hit by a car that was allegedly deliberately driven into her and four older females she was with. In another incident, a man drove his minivan up a sidewalk and ran over a 14-year-old boy repeatedly. Prosecuters say that the man did it in retribution for an altercation involving his sister. These reports scare the crap out of Chicagoist, who doesn't have a car and spends most of our time walking. We ask that you please do not take your rage out on the road!
