Howard Dean, Studs Terkel, and Tom Frank...Ladies, Calm Yourselves

Things were starting to smell like syrup, reefer, and that disease from 28 Days Later—hey, it’s Howard Dean! Ho-Dean, Tom Frank of The Baffler, and Studs Terkel (most important writer in Chicago) will be at the Harold Washington Public Library tonight at 5:30 (ealry-bird special for political types). Frank has a new book, What's the Matter With Kansas? How Conservatives Won the Heart of America, and all three will discuss it. Then they'll talk about policits in general, which will definitely end in a round of high-fives and a version of Cumbaya. The event is free.
