Starting today, I-GO is expanding to Lakeview. The non-profit car-sharing program, which launched in March 2002, is adding their ninth Chicago neighborhood to the list.

After paying the $75 membership fee, I-GO members can reserve cars from their fleet for $6/hour plus $.50/mile, which includes gas, insurance, etc. The two hybrid Honda Civics serving Lakeview will be parked behind Ann Sather at 929 W. Belmont.
