Sweet Weekend on the South Side

The Chicago White Sox has a pretty nice weekend. After dropping Friday's opener in their 3 game series with the Cubs 7-4, they won 6-3 on Saturday and 9-4 on Sunday.

To cap off the weekend, the White Sox acquired pitcher Freddy Garcia from the Seattle Mariners. The Sox also received catcher Ben Davis in the deal, in return for catch Miguel Olivo, outfield prospect Jeremy Reed and minor league infielder Michael Morse.

Chicagoist thinks the addition of Freddy Garcia to the rotation could be the move to get the Sox into the playoffs, making a Red Line World Series all the more likely!
