Spike is less virginal now that she's married to Snake (who has cancer). They have a baby, who Spike birthed IN THEIR LIVING ROOM. Which is like, how they have babies in Canada?

I think my favorite DeGrassi character was Alexa - she was super annoying, but she stuck to her guns. And Spike, man, she's totally like the Virgin Mary, saintly after baby Emma's birth.

What ultimately pulled me back into watch every week of Degrassi was the Toronto accent. As an 11 year old, I was dead set on defecting to the north. "Mum, Dad, I have to work on my Bee-oh-loh-gee proh-ject." What's not to love? Runner up: You Can't Do that on Television.
