Another Death at Skydive Chicago

A 31-year-old Chicago man died while skydiving yesterday at Skydive Chicago, near Ottawa. The death was the 15th at Skydive Chicago since 1993, including the June 2003 death of Skydive Chicago's owner Roger Nelson.

The Lincoln Park resident and Ohio native "was supposed to come home today," his father said. "Today is his 32nd birthday. We were going to have a party together."

Chicagoist thinks we'll remain firmly planted inside any perfectly good airborne aircraft.
