Chicagoist stopped by the Chicago Tribune Magnificent Mile Art Festival this morning before work since it is right outside our office in Pioneer Court. We were really impressed by the quality of work displayed.. this is not your average weekend art fair! The show will be going on today through Sunday and includes sculptures, photography, jewelry, pottery, ceramics, and paintings created by over 200 award-winning artists from across the country. The festival was rated one of the top 100 art festivals in the nation by Sunshine Artist magazine, the art industry’s leading publication. It will also feature live music every day.

Weekend Diversion: Night Of The Ponies

Oh, I miss going that. When I worked for two summers in the NBC Tower, I'd walk through that show on my lunch hour. Maybe if I have some free time this weekend...
For a second i thought you took that photo from where i work at the Tribune Tower but realized it was across the street. The angle looked very familiar. Maybe i'll head down there during lunch.
yeh, im across from the trib. whoever wants to go better RUN because there are black clouds rolling in. i went back down at lunch and there's so many beautiful pieces.. but none i could afford on this meager salary!
You must be kidding! Can you say, "total piece of crap?"
