Someone could find a cure for cancer and solve world hunger, but if he worked for the White Sox, Jay Mariotti would still criticize him.

The real issue here is that Jay Mariotti is a total tool. I can't think of one person in Chicago media I despise more.

Yes, I'm a grammar nitpick, but "Chicagoist think Jay Mariotti" should be "Chicagoist *thinks* Jay Mariotti", shouldn't it? Prior examples of Chicagoist as a singular include "Chicagoist predicts the missing pigs" and "Chicagoist is pro-developer". Please don't say you've consciously decided to use "Chicagoist" as a plural! :-O I already find it weird enough to use it in the first person. :-)
