New McD's Store

McDonald's held a press conference this morning to announce their new "50th Anniversary" store on Ontario and LaSalle. Across the street from the Rainforest Cafe and Portillo's, this place doesn't look half bad, we think. Actually, it looks much better than the existing 50's McDonalds, doesn't it?

A friend of Chicagoist (thanks Kevin!) went to the press conference and even snapped a couple of shots. McDonald's went all out, even handing out nifty DVDs with animated movies of what the new location would look like. The movie kinda looks like the opening sequence from Bulls games, which is even cooler.
