Benji Comes to Chicago for Operation

Benji - Photo: BenjiReturns.comBenji, the dog not the Chicagoist contributor, is coming to Chicago area to have emergency surgery on her eye on Tuesday morning. Benji's retina became detached in June while she was out promoting the upcoming movie called "Benji, Off the Leash." Benji has an appointment with a doctor in suburban Wheeling who is a pioneering veterinarian ophthalmologist and performs most of all the retina repairs done on animals. Never fear, though - the operation has a 75% success rate so Benji is pretty sure to be fine.

A few things Chicagoist is wondering about.. Who is still watching these Benji movies? And veterinarian ophthalmologist? Is there a big market for this sort of thing?
