I don't know who I enjoy making fun of more, Da Mare or Da Trib... Oops... did I just confuse the Da Mare/May-Day debate? For the record, "May-Day" IS a stupid nickname for Richie, but it is NOT that big a deal.

vit, that was everyone.. my mom used to tell me in like 2nd grade that the boys who kicked me were the boys who liked me. i didn't believe her at the time.

Heh, it is nicer than the nickname my uncle had for Daley the 1st, which isn't repeatable in public (something about a Democratic convention that happened 30+ years ago that he's still steamed about). I usually just call him King Richard II as the whole 'da mare' thing is a bit much (I already get enough of hard time for having formally been a southsider by my north suburban coworkers, I don't need to encourage them with that).... I do like this site BTW, just givin' you guys a hard time (it's how I show my love, you know, like the kid who had a crush on you in 2nd grade, so he threw rocks at you at the bus stop... or was that just me).

wait... mayor daley is sometimes called "da mare"? really? kind of like how the chicago bears are sometimes called "da bears"? neat! I'm sure there are no other nicknames for either of them and that no one refers to them by anything other than those terms.
