Dine Out Chicago

Dine Out ChicagoOur Chicagoist bellies are already grumbling for Dine Out Chicago this year. Here's how it works: From August 16th - August 29th, more than 30 of Chicago's best restaurants will offer a special 3-course prix fixe gourmet menu for only $20 at lunch and $35 at dinner. So.. have you ever wanted to go to the Seasons but not felt like spending the dough? How about Ritz-Carlton Cafe? And Tweet? It's sometimes impossible to get into that place. Now's your chance.

The Dine Out Chicago website has more information on what restaurants are participating, what cuisine they specialize in, where they're located, and how to make reservations. If the restaurant has a website there is a link to that there also. Chicagoist notes that some of the restaurants we thought would be on the list aren't .. like Trio, Blackbird, Spring, or Trotter's.. but a dollar from every meal goes to Meals on Wheels. And S. Pellegrino is a sponsor so each meal includes one bottle of their sparkling natural mineral water. So it's all good, right?
