Big Wig Nightclub Closing

By Rachelle Bowden in News on Aug 25, 2004 2:09AM

Big WigFollowing the trend set yesterday by Fireside Bowl, Big Wig on Division St. will be closing its doors in September after 7 years of operation. Except they won't be staying open for bowling. (Watch out for their site, it's nasty and plays loud music.)

Big Wig doesn't plan to go out quietly, though. Starting Wednesday, September 1 and ending Sunday, September 5, they will be throwing a 5-night party. Relics & souvenirs from the club, including the sign off their building, will be raffled and each night a set of DJs will rock the place out one last time.

Doors open at 8 each night and there will be a featured cocktail reception from 9pm - 10pm. After 10 it's 5 bucks to get in Wednesday - Saturday, but Sunday, their last day, is free.
