Happy Hour TONIGHT!
Don’t forget: the first ever Chicagoist Happy Hour is tonight! We’re deliriously excited to meet everyone, so come on by the Happy Village bar (1059 North Wolcott) tonight anytime after 8. Come find us out in the “beer garden,” which is just a paved-over backyard, but a lovely one at that. There’s a bug zapper and everything. We're also a little in love with those tiny beer icons; were they made in KidPix or something?
Beyond boozin’ and schmoozin’, we’ll be conducting some scientific shit—sorry, Dave Matthews, you’re not invited. There will be the Chicagoist Jays vs. Lay’s taste test to settle the matter once and for all. The taste test begins at 10 p.m., so even if you want to arrive fashionably late, you can still make it in time for the survey. Lab coat is optional. Just in case you're wondering what to do today, beer and chips is always, always the answer.

tonight will be the OFFICIAL lays/jays taste challenge. i just bought the chips and some little paper plates and we're all set to go.
in the store where i was making my purchases i saw this Lays stand and thought they were doing some more of their fixed taste challenges but then realized that they were just giving lays away for free. with aquafina as a palate cleanser. we'd rather use beer, thank you very much.
