Chicago actor Joe Kennedy is organizing an audition workshop for actors lead by L.A. casting director Dori Zuckerman. Henderson/Zuckerman Casting has experience casting TV's Charlie's Angels, MacGyver, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. They've also worked with big name actors such as Harvey Keitel, Rose McGowan, Diane Keaton, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, and Renee Zellweger (the list goes on and on). They're big. That's all you need to know.

The workshop will be in held in the Theater Building at 1225 W. Belmont on October 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m and this is how it will work: Dori will "cast" people from headshots that are sent in ahead of time. If selected, on Saturday they'll do a scene, get redirection, do the scene again, then get critiqued. There will be a break for lunch, then Dori will recast and people will do different scenework with different partners and get more redirection and critique. Sunday will be a mock audition where people will get to see both sides of the coin, from the casting director and producers side and then from the actor's side. The idea is to get a better understanding of the whole process.
