Bomb Threat on Chicago - NY Flight

American Airlines - Photo:PalmSpringsHolidays.comAn American Airlines flight from Chicago (ORD) to New York City (LGA) was was diverted to Pittsburgh (PIT) last night after a passenger discovered a bomb threat on a fold-out tray table.

The plane's 130 passengers were taken off the plane, re-screened and put back on another plane to NYC but because of the curfew at La Guardia, they had to fly in to JFK.

The FBI is looking into the bomb threat but we're unsure whether anyone was arrested or detained. Which makes Chicagoist feel great because we have this same exact flight on Friday. Ahh!
