Cop Gets Punched, Investigated

Update: remember how the other day a cop punched a security guard at the Sox game? Not only was the security guard an off-duty cop, too, but now he's under an Internal Affiars investigation. Hottt cop-on-cop action right here in our own backyard. Officer Gregory Matura, the security guard, was on limited-duty status, which is apparently the cop DL, and it's possible that he violated department rules by holding down a second job while on limited duty.

Why exactly Matura is on limited duty has not been disclosed, but Alderman Isaac "Ike" Carothers (29th), chairman of the City Council's Police Committee, says that that information is relevant to whether or not Matura is in violation of police code. We bet Dennis Farina would know how to handle this mess.
