The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round and SLAM

Yesterday a southbound bus on Kedzie came to a stop behind an Oldsmobile Regency (grannymobile!) when, hi, another southbound bus on Kedzie slammed into the first bus' rear end causing it to slam into the Olds. Was the second bus driver sleeping? Drinking? High? Talking on his cell phone? Who knows, but the result was 46 injured people. Only 33 people went to the hospital and none of their injuries were life threatening, but still... we'd be pissed if we came off our daily bus ride with a busted up ankle or whiplash.

And this is just the negative press that the CTA needs right now... since they are threatening to cut bus routes and overnight El service if they don't get more money in their budget.
