Can They Bring Back Jimmy Mac?

Chicagoist has watched enough football in our lifetime to know that when your defense scores more points than your offense, you're going to lose the game! The Bears proved that true once again, losing to the Washington Redskins 13-10. The Bears' lone touchdown came on a 70-yard interception return by Jerry Azumah, in his first game back following a neck injury. The Bears' defense outscored their offense 7-3. Ouch!

The brunt of the blame falls on QB Jonathan Quinn's shoulders. 10 of 22 for 65 yards? Are you kidding me? Chicagoist could put up those kind of numbers were we allowed to suit up for the Bears. And he was particularly inept at the end of the game, when he took two sacks rather then throwning the ball away that prevented the Bears from attempting a potential game-tying field goal.

Hopefully, this performance means the beginning of the Chad Hutchinson era in Chicago. Or they could look into bringing Jim McMahon back...

at least the packers won!

Comments like that are liable to get one run out of town.

IT'S CRAIG KRENZEL TIME, BABY!

The only thing Hutch is good at is failing, just ask the Cowboys or MLB.

All Craig does is WIN!

Why are the Bears so scared of playing Krenzel? Did he look that bad in practice?

What about Tim Couch? Isn't he still sending around his resume? He wasn't horrible (as in Jonathan Quinn horrible) last year, and he's got plenty of experience as a starter...and in cold weather at that. Wouldn't he be a better option than this?

go Krenzel! go Bucks! go um...Bears!

J Quinn went to Middle Tennesee where he played great but when he got to the NFL he choked.
