So, what exactly happened to the employees of the skyway after the lease took place. Why are all these politicians in such a hurry to sell all of our possessions?

Although the increase in tolls sucks ass, I kind of like the idea of "Cintra Macquarie" running the Skyway. I don't know anything about the Spanish consortium, but wouldn't it be cool if they cloaked the steel bridge in terra cotta roof tiles, built arched stucco gables all along the casino promenade, and installed incredibly lifelike palm trees on the way into the McDonald's oasis? And while they're at it, turn that shit into a tapas bistro! JTL

This sucks, I take the skyway all the time to visit my sister in NW Indiana. UGH!
