Somebody Get This Woman Some Ginkgo!

Remember when that zookeeper at Lincoln Park Zoo was attacked by a lion back in September? It was revealed today that the keeper, Nancy DeFiesta, forgot that she let 2 lions into the zoo yard before she went in to give them some fresh water.

Seconds after going into the exhibit, the lions saw DeFiesta and pounced on her. She sustained injuries to her back, neck, and arms and right now is still recuperating at home.

Now, Chicagoist is trying not to be judgemental because we forget a lot of things.. where we put the keys, that you told us 100 times that your party is Saturday night, where we live when we're drunk... but we're pretty sure that we would not forget that we let lions with the ability to kill us into a space seconds before we were about to enter it. Don't know.. but that's just us!
