The Great Chicago Fire Sale appears to have started. Some of those painted manhole covers are pretty cool, if you like very heavy artwork. As of 3:25 p.m., no one wants to shell out $1,500 for Mayor Daley's garden tour; we'd probably think about pooling cash for that if not for the Scoopsville possibility.
