Kennedy Smith Sex Suit Dismissed

2005_01_kennedy_smith_lawsuit.jpgA Cook County judge today dismissed a civil lawsuit against William Kennedy Smith. The suit was brought by Kennedy's former personal assistant who said he sexually assaulted her in his Chicago home in January 1999. This was after a night out boozing. Smith, of course, has repeatedly denied the claim.

A little fishy is that after the alleged incident, the woman continued to work for Smith for six more months and had consensual sex with him several times. If a guy is gonna get all up Chicagoist's panties when we don't want him to, you know we'd be quitting like the next day. And not boning him several more times. Especially if we were broke and needed some money.

Smith quit his job in August to fight the lawsuit. We're guessing he'll be back to work soon.
