Inventor of "Drawbridge Dorm" On The Run

A Man Underneath A BridgeRemember everybody's favorite homeless-man-in-the-sky Richard Dorsey? He was charged with criminal trespass in December when police found him living in a structure constructed underneath the Lake Shore Drive bridge. Dorsey outfitted the "drawbridge dorm" with a TV, microwave, spaceheater and a Playstation powered by electricity from the bridge.

The Sun-Times reports that he missed his court date yesterday and as a result a Cook County judge issued a $10,000 bond forfeiture warrant. Psst...hey coppers, you didn't hear this from us, but here's a tip—check the undersides of bridges.
