Delivery and Carryout: Papajin Chinese and Sushi Bar -- Wicker Park

Sushi has to be, hands down, one of the toughest things to have delivered well.

But, Chicagoist reader Joy E. says that in Wicker Park, Papajin Chinese & Sushi Bar ["Chinese is on the menu, but I've only ordered sushi"] at 1551 N. Milwaukee, offers "... decent sushi, pretty inexpensive." Joy mentions that "... there are too many sushi places around here that charge you for how fancy their bathroom is." Papjin is not one of them and "... the dragon roll is super."

Some downsides: a longer delivery time (45 minutes, usually), but as a plus, they're reliable. "They're never late, and the sushi is always in tip-top shape."

No word on the delivery charge, but visit Papajin's Web site for delivery area. Open from 4 until 11 p.m., Monday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. until midnight on Friday, Saturday from 2 p.m. until midnight, and Sunday from 2 until 11 p.m. Call 384-9600 for delivery.
