Due to a dispatchers strike on the Burlington Northern Sante Fe, all service has been stopped into and out of Chicago. Customers are encouraged to use alternate transportation.
Update @ 4:49pm: Due to a strike by the BNSF dispatchers in Texas, we are experiencing delays of up to 1 hour. We are in the process of obtaining an injunction order to force employees to return to work.
Update @ 4:57pm: Due to a temporary strike by the BNSF dispatchers in Saginaw, Texas, we are experiencing delays of up to 1 hour. All trains into and out of Chicago Union Station will be experiencing delays for the next 50-60 minutes.
