2005 Photobloggies

Gothamist's own Jake Dobkin has teamed up with Rannie from photojunkie.ca and Brandon from lbstone.com to create the Photobloggies, "an annual award ceremony celebrating photoblogging around the world".

Categories are broken down geographically as well as by subject matter and then there's the "Best Of" categories. Nominations are being accepted through March 16th and you may vote for 3 photoblogs in each category. Finalists will be announced on March 21 and the winners will be presented prizes on the 30th.

Might we suggest nominating some Chicago photoblogs? Chicago Uncommon, Chicago Snapshot, Photovox, Slats, Whateverland, Absenter? Or discover a new Chicago photoblog to nominate over at Chicago Photobloggers.
