Dining Out For Life

Chicagoist loves food (oh boy do we ever!) and we like helping out a good cause, which is why we're excited about tonight's Dining Out For Life.

Here's how you can participate: Go out eat. It's that simple. Participating restaurants will give a percentage of tonight's proceeds to AIDS Care, an organization devoted to providing housing for people and families living with HIV/AIDS. Most restaurants have pledged to give 30% of tonight's till. One awesome restaurant, The Avenue Tavern, is giving it all away. Also on the list is X/O, a new restaurant Chicagoist ate at a few months ago.

The excitement doesn't end there! By eating out tonight, you'll be entered to win some great prizes, including 12 gift certificates to various Chicago restaurants and 4 box seats to a Cubs game, but helping out AIDS Care is reward enough.
