Chicagoist: Out To Pasteur

Pasteur was mediocre and overpriced Vietnamese food. There were (and still are!) fantastic Vietnamese restaurants on Argyle/Broadway (Tank Noodle, "Cheap Eats") that charged half as much as Pasteur with much tastier offerings.

Bob Chin's downtown was HORRIBLE! I can't believe they lasted this long. Even if you think the one in the burbs isn't all that great, this was far, far worse. And if you like the one the burbs, the one downtown was a gigantic disappointment. The food was just atroicious -- like a microwaved airline dinner.

wow! pasteur was spendy, but GOOD! and she she? my new consort just told me about that place... we haven't gone yet. dizzam!
