<description>&lt;p&gt;sweet thang does a great job.  Their pain au chocolate is a touch untraditional but absolutely delicious.

Vanille Patisserie in lincoln park also has some stellar cakes and truffles, but the price point is a little higher.  My favorite thing at vanille, though, is they offer miniature versions of all the cakes and tarts, single servings, for $4-5.  Worth checking out just for that.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
