Green Tie Ball

Tickets are still available for tomorrow night's Green Tie Ball, Gateway Green's annual event to raise funds for its beautification projects, most notably its Expressway Partnership.

This year's ball, "Candyland," [careful clicking that link as your ears will be accosted by some obnoxious thumping bass], features food from more than 70 area restaurants including Coobah, MAS, Scylla, and Blue Water Grill. For $125, you get the food, a premium bar, charitable gaming [ahem] and live music from acts like the Katie Todd Band, Howling Moon Dueling Pianos and Fabulous Janes.
