I just have to pay my public condolences for this loss. Troubled Hubble is not only, quite possibly, one of the most FUN bands you could ever see live, they are some of the nicest guys you will ever know/have crash on your floor. I never had the mojo to become a musician, but these guys were the local legends of the DeKalb, IL, indie rock scene (YES! THERE IS ONE! BELIEVE IT OR NOT!). They were the guys who made it. This is a sad day, indeed. I've seen 'em a million times and I have to work tomorrow night, but you should GO! And by you, I mean YOU! Chris, Josh, Andrew, and Nate always put on a great show!

Not sure I understand. It's hard to find the parking area or it's hard to find a spot in the parking area?

Uhhhhhh, the L---was on it ONCE when I was about 10. I'm not fluent in the color system!

Sigy> They do but it can be tough to find since it's Belmont and Southport and full of people who drive. Better to take the Brown Line to Southport and walk down (or the Red Line to Belmont and do the same).

(I remember life with an aspiring musician! Hard business to be in. But, I'd go back in a minute if I could.)

Question: does Schuba's have off street parking-anyone?? I couldn't find any reference on their site.
Thanks!

fuckin' a. why does this always happen to me? i never got to see them again, but i saw these guys at a '30 bands in 30 minutes' deal by the neofuturists, and i made myself remember their name, because i was so smitten by their glorious pop harmonies.

and now they're breaking up? FUUUUUCK.

hmm. let's see:

frisbie (who hopefully, are in fact, making a comeback??)

jellyfish
trip shakespeare
the daybirds

del amitri (i mean, for all intents and purposes...i don't know if they officially 'broke up')

aaaaaaaaaaaah. why me? why why me?

oh troubled hubble, i never knew ye.
