In the late 1990s a Valujet plane filled with over 150 passengers crashed straight into a Florida swamp. There were no survivors. I had been a listener of Mancow's on occassion, his loudmouthed banterings waking me up for my morning drives to work. The day after the crash, when there were still people in the swamp trying to look for survivors, Mancow and his crew were cracking offensive and tasteless jokes about the passengers, the crash. That angered me. I have not listened to him since and will never listen to him again. Free speech, though everyone's consitutional right, should be tempered in this civilized world by respect for other people's plight and not by trying to suddenly capitalize on it by trying to boost morning ratings. I am not saying he shouldn't have made the jokes but, damn, why did it have to be so soon? Speaking of capitalizing, he he goes again using this accident to boost his image. What a jackass.
