Overheard on the # 47 bus going east on 47th street: Juan pregunta a su amigo: – Pedro, ¿qué pasa con los treinta euros que me debes? ¿o ya te has olvidado? – Noooo, pero por favor, dame un poco más de tiempo. – ¿Para pagarme? – No, ¡para olvidarlo!... Apparently, everything overheard in these Tall-tale stories happens north of Madison street. Por que'?

Two of these were great (the one about the lake, and the "Free Martha" t-shirt), but it still doesn't have the same humor as OverheardInNewYork.com. I love Chicago, and I love Chicagoist...but seriously, if these are the cream of the crop, then maybe we just don't have the right kind of city for overheard hilarity.
