I hate WWDTM. It's like "You've spent all week listening to NPR, now make yourself feel smart by listening to a quiz about . . . NPR!" Oh, and C-list comedians.

I liked Mr. Sagal better before he mocked my friend Carl so incessantly and publicly that he stopped going to WWDTM tapings, but he's still fun to listen to.

I love WWDTM. If you haven't been to a taping, check it out. It is an enjoyable and unique Chicago experience. I went on Obama's birthday and he made a surprise appearance. The $20 is a bit steep for some people, but it goes to a good place, no? And besides, movies cost $9.

what a marvelous interview! and what a cool guy! and the story is such an encouragement--it's heartening to know that the strategy of utter aimlessness will eventually lead to greatness! just keep reading newspapers and being funny...yes!
