Utrecht, thanks. I was about to date a woman from Andersonville, and now I won't.

/Are you the "Treaty of Utrecht" Utrecht or "Utrecht Art Suppy" Utrecht???

Wine is fine. There is no point in putting all that fruity-ass shit in there.

Coincidentally, this is the drink that alumni of my fraternity make for the newbies on the day they decide to become pledges.

Through in some flour and vegetable oil-bake and voila, fruit cake! (just kidding). Sounds very tasty.

Joel: People familiar with Andersonville know that Hans' gl&#246gg is ubiquitous with the neighborhood, so you can get it anywhere. I was relaying the story of how I became acquainted with the beverage, not slighting Simon's.

But since you brought it up I always preferred Hopleaf over Simon's, anyway. Better beer selection and I had an eight-month stretch back in '95 where every time I'd walk in the jukebox would kick on.

I was in the Hopleaf last week and as I walked in I overheard Mike say, "yeah, when Hans dies, I'm gonna stop carrying that stuff ... it's awful."

I thought this was funny because (a) "Hans' Andersonville Glogg" is bottled in another state, so I always figured it was mass produced and local labels were slapped on later and (b) I happen to like Hans' Glogg ... unlike alot of the spicy Gloggs with pinecones and shit in them, Hans' is basically a fortified cabernet! A Swedish Holiday Thunderbird if you will. Yum.
