Nursing an Oscars hangover and licking our wounds from choking hard on our predictions (Crash? March of the Freaking Penguins?) we can at least take comfort and solace that a home-town girl made good this awards season:

Jenny McCarthy won a bunch of Razzies.
For 26 years they’ve been handing out the Golden Raspberry awards for the worst in film. This year Chicago native Jenny McCarthy made a movie that landed four of them: worst movie (Dirty Love), worst director (John Asher), worst actress (McCarthy herself), and worst screenplay (McCarthy again).
Congrats, Jenny. Your virtuoso scene involving slipping and sliding in a supermarket aisle in your own menstrual blood was inspired. Aristocrats-esque, even. You do us proud.

O, Jenny McCarthy: pride and joy of St. Turibius grammar school...next to me, of course.
