Good news for
Conan himself is no stranger to Chicago. In 1988, he worked on a local stage show, Happy Happy Good Show, with fellow SNL writers Robert Smigel and Bob Odenkirk. At one point, he also lived in an apartment near Wrigley Field with roommate Jeff Garlin. We’re guessing they had a happy happy good time there.
Tickets to the shows, to be held at the Chicago Theatre, will no doubt be hot items. O’Brien will announce ticket information when Late Night returns with first-run episodes on March 28. No word yet on who the guests will be.
Any suggestions?

You'd think that Chicago-mainstays would be on the menu: John Cusack or Andrew Bird?
God help us if it's "The Belush."
Maybe Andy Richter? I think he grew up in North Center. They had a little skit way back when where Andy and Conan went back to Andy's old neighborhood. They went to the Lincoln Restaurant.
I love Conan! I can't wait! He should have Oprah on the show!
It's about time. Perhaps I should find my way to a taping. For some reason I can't find my way into New York.
i so very very very very very very very much cant wait for this!!!
i'm pretty sure that as part of that same Chicago skit, Andy and Conan tied a few on at Marie's Rip Tide Lounge -- flypaper for Bucktown's hipsters at the time, '97 or so -- and that skit was on a tape loop on Marie's VCR for, oh, the rest of the nineties.
I just hope that he doesn't invite Billy Corgan. Even Oprah would be better.
Matt, indeed!
