On Sunday, March 26th the Chicago Storm take on the California Cougars at 4pm in a Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) match-up. After the game, fans are invited to stick around to see a second match between the Chicago Police Department and the Chicago Fire Department.

The second match will directly follow the Storm's game at the UIC Pavilion. The fire and police departments have played each other in different sports before, but this will be the first ever indoor soccer game. Even though the Chicago Fire Department shares a name with Chicago's MLS team, Police team captain Bobby Kellam is not scared. "I'm not worried about the game," said Kellam. "The Fire Department team doesn't even practice and they've got all that free time." Chicagoist is looking forward to seeing how all this good-natured ribbing translates to competition on the pitch. We expect both will give it their all so they can earn bragging rights until the next competition.

Fans interested in attending the games can purchase tickets by calling the Storm at 312-226-GOAL or visiting their website for more information. Both the Police Department and Fire Department will be selling items and taking donations for their respective memorial funds.
