- We're always poking fun at the Chicago River for being a dirty girl, but turns out she really is pretty gross. And "the people in charge of managing the river" aren't sure it's worth the money to clean'er up.

- A Pilsen funeral director has seen a lot of gang violence. In fact, in 11 years she's buried more than 150 kids who were victims of gang violence. So she goes to schools and meets with kids and scares them straight with graphic descriptions of what she sees on the job.
