If you were not able to get tickets to the 2006 Sierra Mist Major League All-Star Game, you can still see some of the world's best players on Friday. Chelsea FC, the 2005 and 2006 English Premier League Champions, will be practicing for their match-up with the MLS All-stars at Toyota Park Friday at 5:30pm.
Tickets to watch Michael Ballack, Andri Shevchenko, Frank Lampard, Arjen Robben and the rest of Chelsea FC prepare for Saturday's match are $25 and can be bought through the MLS via telephone (888-MLS-FIRE) or at Toyota Park on Friday.
While you are there, you can have your picture taken with the prize of the EPL; the Barclay's English Premier League Trophy for a $10 donation. Funds raised will benefit the charitable organizations of both the Chicago Fire and Chelsea FC. Don't forget to bring your camera.
The MLS All-Star game on Saturday is sold out. But, you can catch the game live on ESPN at 5:30 or on WMVP-AM ESPN Radio 1000.

it's hard to believe that hooligans would travel thousands of miles and spend loads of money to cause trouble at a match against the dreaded and hated ... MLS all-stars? [although i have read 'among the thugs,' so i wouldn't put it past them...
Chelsea FC. Great. A two bob team with a sugar daddy owner who has bought himself a fantasy team with no soul and heart.
Chelsea FC supporters. Great. Either they're fans for less than 3 years or BNP members with shaved heads and Nazi tattoos.
Good job, MLS.
