Sorry, that should be `hit OR miss.`

Yeah, I don`t know. These guys are the best examples I can think of for `hit and miss` comedy. Some of the Stella stuff is alright, but when I saw them at the Metro a year (two years maybe?) ago, it suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked. And it was something like a $20 ticket. It`s one of the only shows i ever walked out of.

i wanted to like them live, and i think everyone in the audience did. But, man, so many awkward silences, and it wasn`t the intentional `Ricky Gervais` kind.

From what I understand, MTV was being a bastard about the rights, but now they're bending a little with the whole iTunes thing.

Yeah, how is it that Stella is out on DVD and The State isn't?

You're in luck. The State is now available on ITunes, and if it does well, MTV may release a DVD. Go to The State link in the post for more info.

awesome. i've always loved these guys. i could never get enough of The State.. one of the few shows i haven't been able to replenish via the interweb. can't imagine what a stand-up show would be like.
