It's a shame you missed the Junior Boys show at the Bottle, as they did a really nice set (even if they disappointed the guy yelling "Double Shadow" from the back). It's amazing how much power those songs have live, since I'm used to the quiet recordings. Also, Wednesday has Spank Rock at the Empty Bottle, if that does it for you. Definitely agreed on Art Brut and We Are Scientists, and I'll think of you guys tonight at TV on the Radio.

I don't know how the Stones do it. Recycle, Recycle, Recycle. I would have checked them out in the 70's, but really what's the point now? Beck was ill the last time he came through, and the show was just so-so. He's got to be better this time through. If you like swagger, check out the swagger of Art Brut, and they've even got more hits than the Stones over the last 20 or so years!
