Sadly, this good news was mishandled by the library--their own employees, those who will be doing the extra two hours from 7-9 assumed this was gossip until it was printed in the paper--no formal announcement or anything. Ah well. I guess they expected a poor reaction.

We can lease some more of the city away so that the people that spent all of their money on lottery tix instead of the internet can go play on the library computers even later...?
