How do we even know that the 300 millionth U.S. resident was born into residency? Couldn't he/she have become #300 million by immigrating? I'd love to have seen border guard approach somebody crossing the border illegally, and rather than detaining and deporting him/her, instead give them a "300,000,000" crown.
