Dammit, that's the second dupe I've posted in a week. My only defense is that the first one happened before I came to Chicagoist, and this one was when I went on hiatus this summer. Stupid digg links. Someone needs to learn how to use the search box.

A note about flying cars, they are all equiped with a special force field so they will never hit another flying car or any buildings etc. When you are ready to park, you simply turn off the force field and lower yourself into a space on the ground, or attach your car to the side of building and climb in through a window or outside deck. Saw them at the last auto show, I'm looking for the rollout in a few years!

Well, Jon, aren't you just more intelligent then the rest of the city. I didn't see this when it originally posted so I am glad it was (allegedly) re-posted.
Oh, and the reason we don't have flying cars is because all it takes is one drunk idiot on hsi way home from the Hangge Uppe to crash into a building and the flying cars will be grounded.

HEY! I know what I'm talking about, yes that is the building I am refering to.
Nostradumas called this one, not me

The incendiary trapped in his own fire,
Of fire from the sky at Carcassonne and the Comminges:
Foix, Auch, Mazères, the high old man escaped,
Through those of Hesse and Thuringia, and some Saxons

I'm not sure what NSH is talking about, but I do know he has no idea what Sean is talking about.

Sean is talking about the Lohan designed Blue Cross and Blue Sheild building on East Randolph Street next door to the Aon Center, which was designed to double in height if the company should decide to expand.

To answer his question... who knows ! Guess you'd have to email the person in charge of doing the renderings.

To answer Sean's question... it burned down during a fire in 2008. The ironic thing was that the building was not insured and Blue Cross filed bankruptcy after 1000s of suits against them leaving hundereds of thousands of people across the nation without any type of heathcare.
