First of all, it's P-A-X-S-O-N. Paxson. Secondly, and more importantly, this is NOT a rule Skiles came up with. Perhaps you should do a little fact checking before calling him "a nazi" and calling for his job. Before this season, players under Skiles were allowed to sport headbands. Did you ever stop and think that maybe this was a decision sent from higher in the organization...say from Paxson...or even Reinsdorf? Maybe you should read part of the article Benjy linked to: That reason was to stop the practice of former Bulls such as Eddie Robinson from wearing a headband around his neck or Eddy Curry, in town Tuesday, from wearing one crookedly. "That rule was borne out of some things I saw when I first got the job that didn't look good," Paxson said. "It was more out of uniformity than anything else. It's not meant in any way to stifle anybody's individuality or creativity. It was just simply part of a structure we were trying to create." It's a dumb rule, but don't blame the coach for following orders.

Skiles is like a nazi, what kind of dumbass rule disallows headbands.. I could see if it was a Pistons headband, then I would say yeah dont wear it, but this is neccesary equipment in some cases. What if Lovie Smith said you can wear gloves, he'd be over ruled. Scott must needs to get off his high horse and be a friggin coach not a school marm.
