Man, oh man, I love me this beer. Not only does it taste good, but the name is based on what the French first thought of when they saw Quebec. Just satisfying all around.

Maudite (The Damned) and La Fin Du Monde (End of The World) are the best beers in the world as far as I'm concerned, even trumping Delirium Tremens and other Belgians. I also love that they have dark tales behind their names. I think I will even bring some home this evening. Only $7.49 at Sam's!

I couldn't agree more - great beer from a brewery that had the good sense to put a transplanted Belgian brewmaster in charge. Unibroue also produces the excellent Maudite, Blanche de Chambly, and Chambly Noir.

Unibroue is an amazing brewery. My biggest love was their bottles of Edition '04 that were selling at a lot of Binny's in town for only $7.99. Great belgian-style strong ale, definitely on the sweeter side, and the ones I've had aged very nicely.
